NBA: James Harden rejects Rockets $103 max extension

According to ESPN’S NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, Houston Rockets super star guard James Harden declined two year $103 max extension offer from the team and asked for trade to Brooklyn Nets.

The two year extension will be on top of the remaining three years, $133 million on his current deal. With that max extension Harden would have been the first $50M a year player in league history, by declining the money James Harden’s message to Houston & League is clear, He is focused on winning Championship rather than taking money.

According to multiple reports, Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant and James Harden met last week in LA and discussed about teaming up in Brooklyn, according to Woj, Rockets and Nets have been in contact, but there’s been no meaningful dialogue.
