NBA Draft lottery: Timberwolves wins first pick in 2020 NBA Draft Lottery

The Minnesota Timberwolves won the First overall pick in the 2020 NBA draft lottery on Thursday.And Minnesota fans went crazy.This will be the first time they have landed No.1 overall pick after Drafting Karl Anthony Towns with No.1 pick in 2015 Draft.

Golden State Warriors Landed second Overall pick ahead of Charlotte Hornets, who moved up five place to come in 3rd place.

Warriors,Timberwolves and Cavaliers all had equal 14 % chance of Landing the top pick before the lottery.Hornets were in the 8th place with 6% chance to win the top-pick, but they are the big winners on the lottery night.They moved 5 places to pick third in upcoming NBA Draft.

The 2020 draft class lacks super-star players like 2019 draft. So it will be interesting How the teams will prepare for the Draft.

How the Teams are planning for Workouts?

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported Tuesday the NBA is looking to stage regional versions of the combine, with the video of a player’s workout and his measurables forwarded to all 30 teams.

Wojnarowski wrote that “it is unlikely that many, if any, top 2020 draft prospects would agree to the workout sessions that would be shared virtually with the league’s teams from the combine sites.”
