Seven-time Formula One World Champion Lewis Hamilton is favored to win record breaking 8th title in 2022 by Sportsbook odd makers. Also Eight time world champions Mercedes are favorites to win constructor’s title in 2022.
Lewis was labeled as favorite to win 2021 title before the season beginning, but Red Bull’s Max Verstappen had different ideas. The Dutchman set the tone early by leading the championship for most of the season before the Brit made late push to equalize the tally going into the final race in Abu Dhabi.

But many predicting Max and Lewis to battle once again for the championship, while Ferrari tipped to join Mercedes and Red Bull in the constructor’s battle.

Lewis has slight better odds than 2021 champion Max Verstappen, but the pair is clear front runners compared to other drivers. In constructor’s title, Mercedes are ahead of Red Bull and Ferrari. But Lewis down played the favorite tag at end of the second pre-season testing at Bahrain.
“At the moment, I don’t think we will be competing for wins,” said Hamilton on Saturday afternoon. “Obviously next week we will get a much better showing of our pace, but I think [other] people will surprise maybe. People keep talking about us talking ourselves down, but it’s a bit different this year.
“We are not the quickest at the moment,” he added. “I think Ferrari look to be the quickest, perhaps Red Bull and then maybe us or McLaren, I don’t know. But we are currently not at the top.”
