Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry leads 2022 NBA All-Star Voting as 1st fan vote returns

NBA reveals the results of 2022 All-Star game first fan votes on Thursday. The Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry and the Brooklyn Nets’ Kevin Durant lead the Western and Eastern Conferences, respectively.

In addition to Curry (Western Conference guards) and Durant (Eastern Conference frontcourt), the Chicago Bulls’ DeMar DeRozan (Eastern Conference guards) and the Los Angeles Lakers’ LeBron James (Western Conference frontcourt) are the top vote-getters at their respective position groups.

If this voting holds, LeBron will not be an ASG captain for the first time since the league did away with East-West and have had the leading vote getter in each conference select their teams in a pick-up style draft. It currently would be Team Steph vs. Team KD

The next NBA All-Star fan voting update will be shared Thursday, Jan. 13.
