2021 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix schedule & TV Channel availability

Formula One is heading to Jeddah for the penultimate race of the season, the 2021 Saudi Arabia Grand Prix, which takes place at the brand-new Jeddah Corniche Circuit on Sunday, December 5.

Like Qatar, Saudi is hosting their first ever Formula 1 race on the shores of Red Sea. The 6.174km long Jeddah Corniche Circuit is a temporary street circuit located on the Corniche – a 30km coastal resort area of the ancient Saudi Arabian city of Jeddah. Race organizers revealed on Sunday that track construction is completed and ready to host the night race.

Average speeds around the Jeddah Corniche Circuit are set to be 252km/h – quicker than those at Silverstone, and second on the 2021 calendar only to Monza – aka ‘The Temple of Speed’. The 50 lap and 308.45 km (total race distance) Sunday Race will be held at 20:30 local time, which will be really tough on Driver like Singapore GP.

It will, quite simply, be the fastest street circuit ever seen in Formula 1 – while the track will also feature the most corners on the 2021 calendar with 27, many of them quick, sinuous bends as the drivers wend their way along the Jeddah waterfront.
